Youth Contender ASTM Vest

The Youth Contender ASTM Vest was developed for use on the cross country course and for any rider or carriage driver seeking a lightweight, comfortable, adjustable and ASTM/SEI certified body protector. The breathability and lighter weight of this vest make it ideal to wear on the hottest days.

Double layers of premium, proprietary EVA foam inserts offer impact absorption that excee the North American Equestrian Standar (ASTM). The design provides soft comfort next to the rider’s body and places ridged foam on the outer layers. All foam layers are designed to shift on impact to disburse energy. The rider enjoys unrestricted movement and an incomparable adjustment range to achieve a superior fit through a unique, eight-point adjustment system.

The traditional lacing system on the sides can be cinched down to a great fit. Each side of the vest allows for four points of adjustment, creating the best fit while providing flexibility. A flip-up tail piece ad to the in-saddle comfort.

The Oxford polyester/nylon outer shell lets dirt wipes off with water.
